Love at Last

Finally being with Taylor was, phenomenal. I could not stop smiling, and laughing, I was finally filled to the brim with happiness, something that is hard to feel when Taylor is missing. It was so amazing to finally be so happy. The morning after I got to Kansas City Taylor spoke in church. He spoke about family. Wow! Everyone afterwards told me how lucky I was to be engaged to a man like him - this is a true fact. The way Taylor spoke from the heart about family was amazing. He has such a strong testimony and seeing his spiritual side always reminds me of what an amazing man my future husband is!
We started out the fun with going out to a museum with glowing walls! Then we went to a field
with a bunch of fire flies. I had always wanted to see one, and finally got to see a fire fly past a pixar cartoon!

We also went out and sold! Another Wow moment for me. Taylor is just so amazing. I don't know how I can even fully express how many great husband qualities he has. We woke up at 8am to get ready for a team meeting, then drive out to the area by 10am. Then started selling. Its about 105'F or 40'C outside, along with the humidity level between 60%-80% depending on the time of day. Its so hot and humid outside that its hard to breath. You walk from door to door being rejected, ignored, listened to then rejected, or listened to then the wife says no. It is so hot out you feel you might just pass out, every inch of your body is covered in sweat. You get a 2 hour lunch and then end the day at 9pm. INSANE!! Taylor works so hard everyday for us, I don't know how he does it, but he does it for us!

Due to him working his butt off I decided I would get him a really great birthday present. I am obsessive about planning so I started while I was at school, and due to the fact that Taylor is nosy and almost ruined the surprise I gave it to him this week. I got him a couple ties, just because. But then the big gift came! I got us BYU Football tickets for the day after his birthday in October, along with matching Phillips sports shirts to wear. Note: sept 4th (94)
One of the funnest things we did while together (other then cuddling!) was go to worlds of fun. We rode roller coasters all night!! It was so fun. It was hot and sweaty, but so worth it. Taylor and I, loved riding the different roller coasters over and over.

Then we took a night out on the town! We pretended we were high rollers and went out to two fancy restaurants, Taylor in his new suit and me in my old homecoming dress. We started off by having dinner, the meal was delicious. Fried green tomatoes, black berries, chicken and veggies. Mmmmm so yummy. But the cool part is the place was also a store, filled with antiques shipped in from England and France.
The second place we went was on the top floor of a hotel and the floor rotated giving you a view of the whole city. Terrible desert and services, but great view!

Thank the heavens!

Taylor and I are getting married... which also means we are going to be happily broke together. But the broke part started to get a little more realistic when every job I applied for was either full or I did not qualify. I had one last interview this morning, for the Student Event Coordinator. A lofty goal, but my last chance. There was almost no way I would get the job of being in charge of all school events! So I got on my knees and prayed I would get the job this morning. Fifteen minutes later I got a phone call, a women had found my resume and was impressed with it. She wanted an interview with me in a month. I boldly told her that I would like to meet with her in an hour and hopefully she could tell me if I got a job today so I could start the paper work, this was risky but she accepted. I did my first interview, probably won't get a call back, then I went to my second interview. I GOT THE JOB!! I am so happy, Taylor and I can push our worries away. We both have jobs for the fall, and both have great schedules. I will now be the girl answering the phone when people call asking silly questions! Taylor thinks I got the job because I was wearing his favorite button up blouse, but I think it was the power of prayer.

Almost over!

Well as many of you know, I am stuck here in Rexburg without Taylor. I have a full load at school, with no classes that seem interesting or motivating! It has been a hard 4 months being without Taylor, and in five days I get to hop on a plane and go see him! Everyday seems to pass like molasses. But finals are finally here and I am dreading doing them, but looking forward to re-uniting with my happiness in Kansas!

Silly But..

Bare Minerals! I just feel like I should be telling every girl I can. Its a make up all made out of minerals and good for your skin. Since Taylor and I have been separated my skin has rebelled big time, and its really sensitive so I tried other make up and it just was not working for me. Then Rachel convinced me to try bare minerals. I usually don't like make up but this stuff is amazing. It gives you the lightest most natural glow. My skin doesn't hate it either. It has been such a great thing, thats my beauty tip to all women. Bare Minerals is the way to go for a healthy natural beauty lift! Definitely worth the money!

Amazing

I would like anyone and everyone to know that I have an amazing Fiance. Martha is hands down one of the most amazing people that I have ever met in my life (next to my mother, mom I know you're reading and I need a little more money! Just kidding.) Whenever I need something and even when I don't, Martha is there willing and ready to help me in any way that she knows possible. Right now she is a thousand miles away from me and she is still searching for ways to make my days go by a little easier and smoother. I love her with all my live and she is down right amazing. She has been raised from a wonderful family, which I am excited to be a part of. There are a couple things that define Martha as being A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

They are:
A-stonishingly beautiful.
M-agically delicious....not that I would know. ;)
A-lways willing to help.
Z-.....I should have picked an easier word...
I-ntelligent.
N-ice to everyone she meets.
G-o getter! Always trying to find new and fun things to do.

I love her so much. I am excited for her to be my wife!

Three hundred and Sixty Five

365 is a pretty big number. 365 days, is one whole year!
Taylor and I, met in the football field at BYU-Idaho 365 days ago!
At first I thought he was old, and at first he thought I was older too!
Turns out we were both younger then we thought we were! Taylor was 22 and I was only 17. Both so young, and both looking for something; little did we know it was each other. Our date was supposed to be a movie, but it turned out to be two hours of non stop sparking conversation. We could not get enough of each other. We said goodnight, I went home to Canada and he went home to Colorado. But we wanted more of that night, so we talked every single night we could that summer.
The Fall came and we wanted to be with each other but due to the distance (Him: ID Me: UT) we continued to date other people for awhile. Then we finally decided there was no point in dating anyone else.
Winter came and we lived a block away and spent around 14 hours a day together! We fell madly in love and well you know the rest of the story!
Were now happily engaged a year later. Its been such an amazing year, we have learned so much about each other and so much about ourselves.
Taylor lives in Kansas now, he is working hard to support our soon to be little family; and I am in Idaho going to school. The time apart has been full of tears, wedding planning and long nights talking on the phone. We both desperately hate the time apart, but it has been good for us non the less.
I am so glad I could meet my best friend one year ago! :)

This is the spot we first met!
