Pre-Made Pancake Packets

I wanted to help make breakfast a little easier at our house. It is the most important but the most rushed! So I set up a little line up to make it simple as shown below. Also I put the baggies in a cup so that it stayed open hands free. Also these are super fluffy so they will grow making them small will help them cook evenly.

  • In Bag:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

When your ready to eat:

Add 1 Egg
1 Cup Milk

Love Wall

If you have been reading my blog since you got married you might recognize this. We have had this little love square in our house for a long time. I still love it to the day such a great buy, but it was just getting  a little old and too square and uniform.

So I took some other photos from around the house along with our new family photos and made a photo collage on the wall. I always see things like this in photos or on people blogs and I finally had to confidence to tackle it. I arrange it on the floor until I liked it and now every time someone comes over we get a compliment on our wall.

Success!! I love it - if your tempted to try this do it. If I could do it I know you can.

Washroom Face Lift

We have had a grey dull bathroom from the beginning and after one and a half years I asked Taylor for a little play money to make our bathroom feel a lot nicer and homey. I was so excited because I have been wanting to do this for a while. I am going to tackle room by room and decorating hoping to take the college-newly wed look out of our home.

You can find this free printable here
I was so happy to find this free printable with an amazing quote on it - the exact size I need and the exact colours. Made my day and pulled the whole washroom together.

Shower Curtain - Target $25
Blue Towels - Walmart $10
Shower Mat - Bed Bath Beyond $20
Hand towel - Bed Bath  $4
Picture Frame - From Home
Fabric in Cabinet - From Home
Total Washroom Face Lift - $59

Considering most of the shower curtains we found were between $40-$80 I was pretty happy with re-doing everything for under $60. Next the living room :) But that will have to wait till September.

Happy Happy Happy

Well I am sorry I have been so terrible as blogging, or taking pictures of anything I'v been making lately. But I plan on doing it again once school is over. Were doing finals right now so its crunch time!

Happy News of Lately:

In April I will graduate with my Associates w/ Honours very proud of my 3.81 GPA
(It feels nice to say that after working very hard for years)
Were also moving into my Dream apartment in September - Walk in closet, grant counter tops, brand new stainless steal appliances, counter space and actual kitchen storage!!

Were also moving to DC in four weeks... that should be interest. They have the highest murder rate so I hear so I plan on starting some hard core fighting class or something
