You will need.
-Mod Podge
-Class gems (floral section)
- Foam Brush
- Fabric or scrapbook paper
-Magnets
You will want to Mod Podge the flat side of your gem.
And then place your circle of fabric (make sure pattern is facing into the gem) and press down.
When cutting the circle trace your gem and then cut that a little smaller.
Once this is done let them sit and dry. Mod Bodge the backs, and then let them sit and dry again. Then hot glue your magnets onto the back! Your done!
I did some more but these were the cutest ones!
Happy Crafting :)

Ok so I'm new to this whole crafty thing. I can see that Mod Podge comes in Matt and Gloss? Would either type work for these?
ReplyDeleteYes! You can use matt or gloss - either will work :) Thanks for asking
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get your gems? I'm having a hard time finding clear gems that do not have a luster finish.
ReplyDeleteI found my gems are a place called Porters, its a craft and fabric store. But I would assume you can get them at Joann's or any other crafty store like that. But if you have a Porters near by thats where I got mine!
ReplyDeleteI found these gems at a pet store over by the fish tank decor. I used small photos instead of scrapbook paper. ♥ Love them! What an awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the idea !! I teach a craft class through a ministry at my church for under privileaged women. My group will be making these tomorrow. I found the clear gems at Dollar Tree for $1 a bag today. So glad I checked. I did spot them later on sale at Michael's for $3.99 a bag. Big Savings !! I've made samples for tomorrow and can't wait to share this with the ladies. Happy Crafting !
